90 projects were implemented to the end of 2024 with a budget of 6,283,442 $, reaching 1,293,987 beneficiaries through the following:

• Distribution of 1,636 food baskets containing 17 food items with a total weight of 35 kg

to 1,636 families.

• Distributing ready-to-eat meals to 14,724 beneficiaries by distributing iftar meals during Ramadan.

• Distribution of ready-to-eat meals to 500 beneficiaries as an emergency response after the last military escalation in NWS in December 2024.

• Distribution of bread to 27,750 beneficiaries as an emergency response after the last military escalation in NWS in December 2024.

• Distribute multi-purpose cash aid to 334 families for six rounds.

• Distribution of meat during the Eid Al-Adha period to beneficiaries, reaching 14,155 families.

• Emergency response to the earthquake by distributing cooked meals to affected families, in addition to distributing ready-to-eat.

SDI works to provide food items in emergencies to people in need until the normal situation is restored in the targeted areas.

Our activities include the distribution of food baskets, charity kitchens (Hot meals), Ready to Eat Rations (RTEs), and the distribution of dates, children’s food, and bread, in addition to the distribution of cash.

Moreover, SDI has implemented several agricultural projects such as growing wheat, seasonal crops, training, awareness raising, and provision of agricultural inputs and tools in addition to irrigation projects.

Livelihood activities also included vocational training distribution of income-generating assets.

SDI uses diverse modalities for food security and livelihood interventions:

·        In-kind: Through in-kind distribution through contractors or direct distribution.

·        CVA: restricted vouchers for FSL and Multipurpose cash.
