The SDI Nutrition program focuses on providing comprehensive and vital services through the implementation of Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) and Maternal, Infant, and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) programs. These programs are delivered at both health facility and community levels, targeting pregnant and lactating women (PLWs) and children aged up to 59 months. Additionally, SDI integrates Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) for both the treatment and prevention of malnutrition. This approach facilitates malnourished beneficiaries’ access to treatment and improves the nutritional status of vulnerable populations. Facility Level At the facility level, SDI focuses on integrating nutrition services, particularly the OTP, through health facilities. By funding these components together, SDI aims to save resources and ensure complementarity of services. Community Level At the community level, SDI mobilizes Rapid Response Teams (RRT) to reach remote and underserved areas, providing essential and lifesaving nutrition services.
